 Group Agility Classes

We run group classes for those wishing to attend training on a regular basis.

Classes are held weekly and last for 1 hour.

Cost is £40 per 4-week term for Saturday classes indoors @ LETS Go Manor (payment in advance at the start of each new term) or £8 per session for weekday classes held outdoors @ Netley training field.

Our group classes are structured to allow progression from foundation level through to advanced handling & running full sequences at competition level.

We appreciate that many handlers want to attend agility classes "Just For Fun".  Our aim is to provide friendly, informal classes where handlers of ALL abilities enjoy having FUN training their dogs.  There is never any pressure to compete - but the temptation to enter your first agility show is hard to resist once you have been bitten by the "Agility Bug".

NOTE : Dogs need to have a reasonable level of focus & control before they are ready to train off-lead in a group situation with other dogs.  We offer 1-2-1's for those that require some initial training prior to joining a group agility class.

Our Starters Foundation Classes are for dogs & handlers with no previous agility experience.  This is where your agility foundation training starts.  Using interactive play & positive rewards, these classes introduce essential foundation games to play with your dog, whilst teaching you some important handling skills.  Also includes safe introduction to low-level jumps & tunnels for your dog.  (Classes suitable for dogs from 9mths old+ ).

Once you have learnt the basics in one of our foundation classes, you are ready to move on to our Beginners Agility Classes and learn more about agility handling skills. Here your dog will be introduced to the agility obstacles and you will be shown positive training techniques for teaching your dog the contact equipment & weave poles. (Dogs need to be aged 12mths+ to join this class).

Our Novice Agility Class is for dogs/handlers that have completed their basic training and able to negotiate most of the agility equipment with confidence.  You are now ready to start some "real" agility by learning to how to handle your dog around an agility course with speed & confidence.

We offer 1-2-1's for more advanced dogs/handlers that have the required skills to run a full agility course.  The focus of these sessions is adapted to your individual training needs in order to advance your handling skills & course work, either in preparation for competition or just for pleasure.
